Get Your Sh*t Together Workshop

Confession. We’re doing something that’s really scary (and exciting) this year. We’re hosting our first live photography workshop here in Brooklyn February 7th-8th!

We’ve talked to countless business owners about how they feel overwhelmed. Days seem shorter and distractions are endless. They don’t feel like they’re making the most of their time each day, and the fear of failure starts to creep in. You’ve felt this before right? We’ve been there, we all need help, and we’d love to be the ones to be there for you.

We are so excited to be a safe place for photographers to master their craft and join a group that will keep them accountable. If you kept getting stuck in 2018, we’d love to help you get unstuck by showing you that done is better than perfect. We’re going to give you the tools to do it in a way that makes sense for you and show you how these practices and methods have impacted our business and life positively.

Sidney and I have been to workshops that were full of fluff and we frustrated to walk away without anything tangible. We’re hoping to change that by offering courses on goal setting, marketing, time management, editing workflow, and much more. We are also doing website consultations, custom preset development, and portfolio reviews. Check out our website for the schedule and more info.

We’re offering $100 off for anyone who mentions this blog post but the offer ends on January 28th! Join us so you can transform your business and make more time for things the really matter (personally, we have a puppy with a serious cuddle deficit we need to resolve stat!).

What People Are Saying

Lauren Sperber

We’re so glad that we had Bethany from Sojourner Society shoot our wedding. Her photography is gorgeous, and we know that we’ll treasure the moments she captured forever. Bethany is fun to hang out with, and she’s extremely organized and came to our wedding with our shot list printed and ready-made sure to check everything off! All of our other vendors loved working with her, and our officiant (herself a former wedding photographer) was extremely impressed with how on top of everything Bethany was.

Bethany was an excellent photographer for both our engagement photos and on our wedding day. In addition to providing so many images that were even better than we could have imagined, she also is a very kind and calming person to be around and handled everything so smoothly even when we felt stressed in certain moments. Her photos are beautiful and will be beautiful memories of our day!

Sojourner Society did such a fantastic job! I’m in love with all the newborn photos she took of my son and our family photos. So glad we made the leap and hired her to take our first family pics as a family of three. We will have these memories forever! Great experience, excellent quality, and loved how relaxed she made us feel. Highly recommend!

Bethany is fantastic! We love the final photos and have several prints around our apartment. We can't recommend her enough!
